"Rhonda has been a great tennis coach since I started with her a few months back. I'm 29 years old, took up tennis about a year ago, and was looking to improve my hitting techniques, grips and footwork. I attend a weekly group class with Rhonda and 3-5 other adult students at a similar experience level. She's a very perceptive coach and was able to identify some easy fixes that have helped me to improve my game significantly. The classes have been fun and informative and I will certainly be keeping Rhonda as my coach for the foreseeable future."

"I've been taking lessons with Rhonda for the past few months after my last instructor moved out of the area. She's amazing! She definitely knows what she's talking about--I've learned a lot in just a few months working with her. She always asks what you want to work on during the class and is able to tailor her drills around that. She also tries to throw in games which keep it fun. I would highly recommend Rhonda as a tennis instructor!"

"I don't know how she does it, but Coach Rhonda is a kid-whisperer slash tennis extraordinaire. My capricious little niece (5) and nephew (12) run circles around me in every subject and hobby, but when it comes to tennis lesson with Coach Rhonda, she commands respect and attention with those under her tutelage. It is obvious that the kids admire her since they reiterate every piece of advice that she imparts from each session to me after I pick them up.

The best part of Coach Rhonda's sessions is that it is long enough to allow me to run errands; kid sitting AND things get done! The biggest plus is that Coach Rhonda can handle any range of ages; there is no doubt I'd sign up my kids (hopefully not anytime soon) for her sessions."

"Coach Rhonda makes tennis FUN!! I highly recommend lessons with Rhonda for all ages and skill levels.

Her formal training in tennis provides for professional rigorous instruction, while her patient and relaxed style creates an enjoyable environment to learn tennis. When some instruction doesn't click, she changes drills or verbiage to clarify. She uses and provides various helpful equipment such as a running ladder for footwork agility, cones for target practice, among other goodies. She has helped me correct bad habits I've acquired from extensive badminton.

Again, Coach Rhonda comes with high recommendation."

"Over the years, our daughter has had tennis lessons from many coaches (7 to be exact), but to this day, Rhonda stays as her favorite one - by far. It's no surprise - she's VERY attentive, goes down to kid's eye levels to talk to them, and tailors the lessons to every child's various tennis levels. Lessons are heartfelt as you'll see her jumping and stretching with the kids (vs other coaches who just feed balls), yet also comprehensive as she incorporates everything from fundamental footwork, endurance training, to the specifics.

Her approach is super kid-friendly, breaking down complicated motions (such as serves) into simple easy-to-follow but skills building activities. It's cool that she shows up not only prepared, but also has homework ready if you (or your kids) are up for it. Best of all, she REALLY cares for the students to enjoy and learn tennis well, and you can feel it may it be in her talks with the kids or the handouts copied nights before the lessons. We miss her dearly in Santa Monica, and look forward to some 'booster sessions' when she comes up from San Diego!"

"We have only taken 5 lessons with Coach Rhonda and my six year old daughter has gone from being timid and scared of the ball to hitting forehand, and volleying. I was amazed at what my daughter could do by the end of the second lesson. Coach Rhonda teaches them footwork, forehand/backhand, volleying. She has specific routines for them to help with hand eye coordination and speed. I was very impressed. She is very friendly, cares and is all around a great coach!"

"Rhonda was such a patient coach! She caught the mistakes that I never realized when I was playing tennis! I wish I had her to start with... it was very nice to work with her! I was so sad that she is moving to San Diego, otherwise I would definitely have her as my coach for long term!"

"LOVE LOVE LOVE this coach! I have been working with Coach Rhonda for the past few months. I purchased the package of sessions so I could save on more tennis lessons. I have been training for a local tournament and enlisted her as my coach.

Although she is located in Los Angeles, she had made many trips to San Diego to work with me. I have never had anyone help me better my footwork than Coach Rhonda. My tennis game has improved tremendously."

"I had my first tennis lesson ever with Rhonda and I loved it!! God bless her for having so much patience because I have two left hands. She is an amazing teacher and by the end of the class I thought I'm ready to take Djokovic down!

All jokes aside, she has great knowledge and is super sweet and friendly and did I mention patience? Lots of it! It was also a great work out as I was super sore after, in a good way. Can't wait for my next class :)"

"I'm a marathon runner who loves cardio, but I wanted to change up my workout routine. It's been on my bucket list to play tennis for a very long time, and Rhonda has been wonderful in helping me make that happen!

She gives great instructions and is very PATIENT!!! I played softball in high school, and my swings had to be modified a few times.

Important factors from my lessons with Rhonda:
I break out in a sweat. Great workout!!!
Rhonda is super FUN!!! Ask her to "spar" with you :)
She is PATIENT, PATIENT, PATIENT!!!"

"Rhonda is amazing! When she was living in the Bay Area I really needed help with my game. I played as a kid & wanted to get back into it. Rhonda helped me not only work on my skill set, but whipped me into great shape as well. It was great to have someone support me & help me regain skills and confidence on the court.

She really takes time to help you improve your game. I learned a great deal and had such a great time doing it. I can definitely hold my own out there now- thanks to her! I wish she was back in the Bay Area!"
